The aroma of violets simply explodes out of the glass. The violet carries over to the palate, where it dances with raspberries,  powdery tannins, and hints of smoked meat. This is overwhelmingly floral, with lovely red fruit and interesting tertiary flavors. Drink with beef skewers with chimichurri sauce. Highly Recommended.

The nose is earthy, musty, mushroom and humus with cherries playing backup. The palate is more fruit-forward, with cherries and raspberries in the lead, freshly turned earth, tobacco, and mushrooms following along. Soft red fruit, complex earthy flavors, and round tannins make a food-friendly wine of great depth for the
