What We’re Drinking – Miner Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Napa meets New Zealand in this Kiwi-aroma Valley-palate Sauvignon Blanc. The aggressive nose launches white grapefruit, gooseberry, and a medium-sized cat. On the palate, cut grass, melon, lime, and white grapefruit come through. Grapefruit and lime linger. Mouth-feel is soft, slightly viscous, and acids bright. Drink with pan-fried trout. Recommended. 88 points. DBH
