Silk in a glass. The blend is a little random, with bright, fruity Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon sitting in the same room, but looking the other way and refusing to talk to each other. Petite Sirah gives a deep black fruit anchor, and Syrah adds some meatiness. The mouth-feel, though, is marvelous. It rolls like silk on the tongue, soft, smooth, gentle but substantial. Tannins grip while fruity flavors fly. Drink with sweet sausage. Recommended. 88.
