Citrus is more pronounced on the palate, tangerines and orange peel, strawberries and lime, with a leafy herb background.     Red and black fruit mingle with earth and humus on the nose. The palate, too, blends red and black fruit, blackberry and raspberry, with deep earthiness and cranberry high notes. Hints of tobacco show the presence of a small amount of Cabernet Franc. Tannins are soft and light, acids pronounced.

    The aroma of violets simply explodes out of the glass. The violet carries over to the palate, where it dances with raspberries,  powdery tannins, and hints of smoked meat. This is overwhelmingly floral, with lovely red fruit and interesting tertiary flavors. Drink with beef skewers with chimichurri sauce. Highly Recommended.
