The nose is earthy, musty, mushroom and humus with cherries playing backup. The palate is more fruit-forward, with cherries and raspberries in the lead, freshly turned earth, tobacco, and mushrooms following along. Soft red fruit, complex earthy flavors, and round tannins make a food-friendly wine of great depth for the price. Drink with veal. Highly Recommended. 90 points. DBH
