2010 Lenné Estate “Jill’s 115” Pinot Noir

The nose is bright, cherries and strawberries, with an earthy background and a touch of coffee. It is far sweeter on the palate than on the nose. The attack is slightly candied, but it settles down quickly, offering tart rhubarb under sweet strawberry. Tiny hints of coffee flash and disappear. Mouth-feel is soft, tannins from, acids sharp. The finish lingers and fades slowly. Give this some cellar time to pull all the elements together. Your patience will be rewarded. Recommended (92). DH
