2004 Sembro Tempranillo

This lovely Tempranillo spent 9 months in both French and American oak, and it shows. Good amount of spice and sage the bouquet. Surprising weight on the palate lead by a bit of dried dark fruit and toasty oak. After an hour it opened up wonderfully. Mmm…what I wouldn’t give for a good spoonful of beef stew right now.
