What a great surprise: the best of the Old World and the New World in this wine. In the aroma there is earth, vines and fruit. Plenty of acidity on the palate, along with restrained fruit. Body enough to be New World, but classic elements from the Old – good structure, not too fruity, and a long finish. Made by one of the best California sparkling wine companies, only 1,300 cases this year. Pair with filet mignon or other mild meats and cheeses. Highly recommended — BSE
