2008 Raumland Pinot Noir Cuvée Marie-Luise Brut Blanc de Noir

Loads of tiny bubbles float up through the pale, barely yellow, wine. Aromas of baking pie crust and pears show on a very pretty nose. Apples and strawberries join the pears on the palate, while yeasty flavors add ginger and more to the background. There is a shift toward tart citrus from mid-palate through a lingering finish. Acids are knife-sharp. This has a rich mouth-feel, great complexity, and acids to hold up to the richest food pairing. Drink with stuffed flounder. Highly Recommended (93). DH
