91 points – Burghound: Here the dark berry, plum and spice-suffused nose exchanges a bit less elegance for a touch more complexity. There is more volume and mid-palate concentration to the enveloping and sappy medium weight flavors that possess plenty of punch on the dusty, intense and muscular finale. This is just a bigger and more structured wine with fine power and aging potential. While this won’t wow you with its refinement it’s more than worth checking out for value.
