Bright, complex, and creamy, this Grosses Gewächs (great growth) is Loosen’s best from this grand cru vineyard. Apple, quince, and lemon marmalade lead on the palate, the bright sharpness shifting to a creamy melon and citrus, honey generously spritzed with lime. Creamy lime lingers in a long finish.  Recommended. 91 points.  DBH

I think you must mean “alte Reben” – which means “old vines” in German.
