This well-made wine leads with sour cherry and follows with layers of flavors, including mulberry, blackberry, coffee,l and dark chocolate. Sour cherry comes through strong again on the long finish, supported by a light touch of vanilla. Tannins are subtle, throwing off fine dust. Tart and a little angular, use the edges to cut through the fat on a nice slab of dry rub pork ribs. Highly Recommended. 92 points.
